Overview: Are you an experienced and dedicated Dental Treatment Coordinator looking for an exciting full-time opportunity? Seda Dental of Boynton Beach is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday—and we don’t work Fridays! Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patient Chart Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient health and dental records in our system.
- Appointment Scheduling & Treatment Coordination: Efficiently schedule appointments and manage treatment plans to ensure timely care and proper follow-up.
- Software Utilization: Utilize Open Dental (or similar software) to manage patient records, billing, and insurance claims.
- Customer Service & Communication: Professionally handle patient calls, inquiries, and provide top-notch customer service with excellent phone etiquette.
- Dental Collections & Financial Support: Assist with collections and follow up on accounts to ensure timely payments, while addressing patient billing concerns.
- Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative support to our dental team to streamline the treatment process.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and insurance benefits, ensuring they fully understand their care plan.
- Welcoming Environment: Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for patients, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
- Collaboration with the Medical Team: Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and patient care.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator (or in a similar role).
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Open Dental software or other similar practice management systems is highly desirable.
- Dental Terminology: A strong understanding of dental terminology to facilitate effective communication with both patients and staff.
- Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive patient situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Phone System Proficiency: Ability to manage incoming calls and multiple phone lines smoothly.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized while managing appointments and patient records.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with a team while maintaining individual responsibilities.
- Medical Collections Knowledge: Familiarity with medical and dental collection processes is a plus, but not required.
