What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher, Montessori (Elem) / (25-26) position at Sedgefield Montessori?
Title: Montessori Teacher
-Lead a multi age Montessori classroom providing regular, explicit instruction for every child at the Primary, Lower Elementary or Upper Elementary Level.
-Plan and deliver Montessori lessons to students.
-Analyze student data to inform instruction.
-Collaborate with PLC members during planning/ data and business meetings.
-Plan and chaperone field trips, this may include overnight experiences.
-Provide consistent, respectful parent communication.
-Maintain a neat, organized and essential prepared environment for students.
-Lead daily class meetings incorporating social/ emotional lessons.
-Practice record keeping to track student learning.
Bachelor’s Degree in education with appropriate subject area. Must have North Carolina certification or credentials to attain NC certification.
