Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

The role of this position is to support the Residential and Agricultural Division in research, document management, and data entry of divisional entry projects. These projects include annual re-inspection, Apex sketching, final review, new construction, sales, or any special projects. This position also supports other functions needed for the office to meet all statutory and compliance timelines and requirements.
Data Entry
- Prepare the field appraiser data for entry by interpreting the data and verifying the accuracy using the appropriate databases.
- Perform entry for the data in the appropriate databases.
- Perform self-quality control checks on the entry.
- Follow and comply with the annual PVD Revaluation Maintenance Specifications and Compliance Guide.
Document Management
Prepare and assemble documents.
Minimum Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent. Must successfully pass the following courses within three years of hire date : International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) Course 101 – Fundamentals of Real Property Appraisal, Kansas Property Tax Law, Orion Introduction and Overview of Basic Functionality.
Preferred Qualifications : Two years of mass appraisal experience. Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Have one or more of the following professional designations : Registered Mass Appraiser (RMA), Certified Assessment Evaluator (CAE), Residential Evaluation Specialist (RES), Mass Appraisal Specialist (MAS), or Assessment Administration Specialist (AAS).
