Pastry Chef - 7 Acre Bar N Grill
Base: $50K to $60K base
The brainchild of Chris Sedgwick, 7 Acre Bar N Grill features a 93 seat family-centric space and patio seating for 43. The menu is simple and includes comfort foods, a full bar featuring 77 whiskeys from around the world, homemade pies and real “garden to fork” ingredients demanded around here. Expect to see local, fresh, and hand-crafted cuisine and make sure to check out our 7 Acre garden- right in our backyard!
7 Acre is currently seeking a passionate, self-starting Pastry Chef to continue to enhance their already well established and respected pastry program. The Pastry chef will work closely with the Executive Chef who opened the restaurant as the Pastry chef and will have the support of a pastry assistant.
We expect this role to have continued growth opportunities within the organization as we are set to expand the existing restaurant facility.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all production for a curated collection of seasonal dessert menu items as well as a daily selection of rotating pastries for the dessert case
- Responsible for all custom cake orders and holiday cake and pie orders
- Ability to work closely with the 7 Acre culinary team as well as working independently
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience of baking and pastry experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in leadership or a lead role
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Must possess a high attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
