Commercial Roofing Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Roofing Technician to join our team in Killeen, Texas!

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM

As a Roofing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of roofing systems used in our indoor production facility. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to safety will contribute to the success of our projects. Responsibilities:

• Install and assemble roofing materials according to industry standards and company guidelines in an indoor manufacturing setting.
• Ensure accurate measurements, cuts, and placements of roofing materials to achieve a seamless and watertight roofing system.
• Collaborate with team members to complete roofing projects efficiently and meet production targets.
• Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for roofing installations.
• Identify and address potential issues or defects in roofing materials, ensuring high-quality finished products.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a culture of workplace safety at all times.
• Keep work area clean and organized, minimizing hazards and maintaining a productive environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing insights on process optimization and potential enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in roofing installation, repair, or related field within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in using various hand and power tools related to roofing work.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in measurements and installations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand, bend, and work at heights as required.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines and production goals.
