The Project Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems for industrial construction projects. This role ensures that all aspects of project execution meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Project Quality Manager will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to promote a culture of quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The Project Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems for industrial construction projects. This role ensures that all aspects of project execution meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Project Quality Manager will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to promote a culture of quality throughout the project lifecycle.
We are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:
- Develop and implement quality management plans, programs, procedures and tools to ensure quality across procurement, fabrication and construction. Define quality objectives, criteria, and standards in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) in conjunction with construction contractors and vendors for all phases of the project. Ensure that ITPs align with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement quality control procedures and inspections they meet required specifications. Identify and address any non-conformities and corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure alignment on quality expectations and requirements as part of fabrication/construction readiness. Facilitate communication regarding quality standards and address any quality-related issues promptly. Ensure ratable completion of quality documentation by contractors and vendors.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation related to quality management activities, including audit reports, inspection results, and corrective actions. Prepare regular reports on quality performance for project stakeholders.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality management processes and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness across all project levels.
- Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries. Work with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment on quality expectations and standards.
- Identify potential quality-related risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle and adjust plans as necessary.
- Promote a continuous improvement mindset by analyzing quality performance data and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Recommend process enhancements to improve overall project quality.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management for industrial construction projects, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM), ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in quality management systems and tools, as well as familiarity with project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Compensation range for this role is between range $115,000 to $150,000
- The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
