About the Job
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Acquisition Specialist for FMS Programs to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical acquisition and technical management support to the USMC Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in acquisition support, with expertise in developing acquisition-related documents, including RFIs, J&As, and IGCEs. You will also demonstrate exceptional communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with government representatives, contractors, and stakeholders.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acquisition Strategy Development: Assist in developing acquisition strategies, I-STRAP, and MOPAS-S documentation to support project objectives.
- Contract Support: Create procurement request packages, CLIN descriptions, and other acquisition-related deliverables.
- Program Reviews and Risk Assessments: Participate in and support program reviews, meetings, and ceremonies. Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies tailored to specific FMS cases.
- Business and Logistics Coordination: Facilitate logistics planning, coordinate with OEMs, and review equipment sustainment plans to ensure compliance with FMS case agreements.
