See at Night (a division of Carolina Services Inc.) is a full-service commercial and industrial lighting company focused on addressing our clients’ lighting needs with integrity and expertise. Our complete range of solutions includes commercial lighting maintenance, design, construction, retrofits, replacement products and recycling.

Due to our ongoing growth we are hiring a Commercial Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Summary :

The Commercial Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings.

Job Classification : Nonexempt / Fulltime

Duties / Responsibilities :

Install and repair electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, conduit, light fixtures and controls.
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment – providing on-call support as needed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain service issues and solutions.
Ensure compliance with local, state and federal electrical code and regulations.
Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies and procedures.

Desired Skills / Abilities :

Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read drawings and follow NEC code.

Strong mechanical and technical skills.

Ability to communicate well with clients and provide excellent customer-service.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Required Education and Experience :

3 years of experience in a service technician role or related field.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.

Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Education and Experience :

Relevant vocational training or certification

Work Environment :

This position primarily works in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in potentially hazardous areas.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift 55 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.

Ability to work at heights - on lifts and ladders, and in confined spaces when necessary.

Pay Rate : $20.00 / hr.-$25.00 / hr.
