Job Description Summary:
Responsible for capturing and producing high-quality imagery and video content to support strategic campaigns, marketing initiatives, e-commerce content and employee communications. This role demands a highly skilled visual storyteller with expertise in composition, lighting, and post-production techniques to create compelling visuals, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and enhances audience engagement. Working both autonomously and collaboratively, the role necessitates a meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of modern multimedia production workflows.The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $110k-$125k; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Creates compelling, high-resolution photographic and video content to support a diverse range of cross-channel marketing initiatives, including but not limited to print collateral, catalogs, digital, e-commerce, email campaigns, retail signage, large-format advertising, and social media platforms.
- Independently shoots product imagery, collaborating with food and/or prop stylists as needed. Manages end-to-end shoot logistics without on-set art direction, photo assistance, or digital tech support to deliver clean, high-quality imagery for e-commerce product display pages (PDPs), toolkits and signage.
- Works collaboratively with full photo team, including external photographers, art directors, digital technicians, retoucher, stylists, and internal stakeholders, to produce elevated lifestyle and environmental imagery for seasonal campaigns, ensuring alignment with creative strategy and brand standards. Participates in the entire process including planning and prep as well as being on-set during photoshoots.
- Produces short-form video content tailored for social media and e-commerce, encompassing concept development, set design, lighting, sound recording (as needed), video capture, and on-set talent direction.
- Captures dynamic photography and videography for internal and external communications, including behind-the-scenes content, employee features, grand openings, and company events.
- Performs advanced image processing and post-production editing, including background manipulation, color correction, and preparation for retouching to ensure visual consistency across all assets.
- Edits and enhances video content by refining lighting and sound quality, incorporating graphics or animations as required, and rendering final assets optimized for various distribution channels.
- Work closely with retouchers, designers, and marketing teams to ensure final images meet their requirements, accurately reflect brand standards, and align with campaign goals.
- Partner with project management to maintain clear understanding of final deliverables, project schedules, and expectations. Ensures timely delivery of images, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Keep up to date with emerging trends in photography, videography, and digital media technologies to optimize workflow efficiency and improve creative output. Implement photo retouching and image creation solutions that improve output quality, increase efficiency and speed, and/or enhance customer experience. Identify opportunities to enhance technology and innovation that will improve departmental effectiveness.
- Completes special projects as assigned by creative leadership. Supports and provides guidance to cross-functional partners.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience working in a high-volume, retail photo production environment with a proven track record in creating a diverse range of commercial photography and video assets. Food photography a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in photography, film or related field, technical school, or equivalent experience
- Online portfolio required.
- Experience with professional photography equipment including high-end DSLR camera and lenses, external flash/strobe systems as well as the ability to achieve high-end results using the camera on an iPhone.
- Ability to independently stage, light, and capture tabletop product photos in studio and on location, using best practices for different environments and lighting situations.
- Adept at video content creation including lighting/equipment set-up, filming, audio capture, editing techniques, implementation of graphics, and final production.
- Experience collaborating closely with external photography teams, stylists, art directors, internal creative and marketing partners. Ability to problem solve, support and partner with other team members effectively.
- Strong understanding of technical and workflow considerations related to image file formats for print and digital output.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; comfortable navigating tight deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive. Able to adapt quickly and manage change efficiently, and in a positive manner and able to respond to and act upon critical feedback.
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to convey direction in writing.
- Ability to utilize advanced technology to develop tools and techniques that enhance efficiency.
- Expert in Capture One and Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Lightroom, and video editing programs like Premiere and After Effects. Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with leveraging AI tools a plus.
