What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Video Editor position at See Spot Run Productions?
The team at See Spot Run Productions is looking for a full time in-house Junior Video Editor / Motion Graphics Artist. Our focus is on commercial work, long-form videos and social/web content. This role largely includes creating videos for social media so knowledge of social media trends is preferred.
We have a fast paced, highly collaborative workspace with on-site mentoring, training, and room for growth.
We work with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite so knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects or equivalent programs is preferred. We need a highly organized individual able to work quickly and efficiently. Someone with the ability to multitask and manage time on deadline driven projects. Good communication skills are a must.
See Spot Run also serves as the in-house production company for a high-volume advertising agency, Agency GWL.
Your day to day duties may include:
- Organizing and sync footage/assets
- Editing video
- Color correcting video
- Creating on screen graphics (titles and simple animation)
- Formatting videos for television, social media and other web based platforms
- Editing Audio
- Participating in brainstorming sessions
- Helping with video shoots
Additional preferred skills:
- Shooting, lighting, and audio recording experience in studio and on location
- Graphic design
Some infrequent out-of-state travel may be required
See Spot Run provides employer paid health insurance (See Spot Run pays 100% of health premium) with a life insurance policy. We also provide access to a 401k and dental, vision, and supplementary insurance. Office hours are 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Thursday. We close at 4pm on Fridays.
Base salary starts at $40,000 and increases based on experience.
