What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Harvest & Trim tech position at Seed & Smith?
Reports To: Trim Manager Required Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6:30 a.m. MST 3:00 p.m. MST Position Duties & Responsibilities (included but not limited to): Provide 40 hours of quality work per week and work all scheduled shifts. This work will primarily take place at your regular facility, unless additional help is required at another facilityOversee the contracted trim company employees throughout the harvest process: harvest and dry trimMaintain compliance set by the Marijuana Enforcement DivisionMaintain all records for compliance and data tracking set by the MED and Seed & SmithMonitor dry room environment to guarantee proper drying techniques are being usedRegularly inspect wet and dry plants for quality control Aid in developing calendars as well as meeting deadlines set by management to meet the needs of the supply chainMonitor curing bins for increased quality Harvest plants and track data in METRC, and Seed & Smith logs Guarantee waste is being disposed of properly Maintain a high level of cleanliness of equipment, trim and dry roomsGuarantee all plants are organized inside of dry roomsMaintain functionality of all equipment Make sure policy and compliance is followed with fresh frozen productGuarantee all supply quantities are maintained Competencies & Qualifications: This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to work in a trial-and-error environment. Interpersonal skills – being able to communicate and work well with others – are a necessity. Time management and organizational skills are essential while being comfortable adapting to changes in the environment.Ability to maintain and troubleshoot structures and materials.
