SEEDS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities to academically talented students. Our mission is to empower students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed in highly competitive colleges and universities.
The College Scholars Program is an immersion experience designed to provide academic, college application, and social supports to students throughout their 17-month program. As a professor in this program, you will be responsible for teaching the College 101 course, which focuses on writing, college admissions, and life skills.
Primary responsibilities include teaching subject area according to curriculum guidelines, reviewing and correcting written assignments, developing strong relationships with students, and attending faculty meetings. Additionally, professors must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively, as well as excel in a remote learning environment.
