Seehafer Refrigeration is a leader in conventional and robotic milking systems service and installation. We are looking to grow our operation based in Sparta Wisconsin serving dairy farms in Western and South Western. We are looking for the right individual to help serve our customers. Job Responsibilities

  • To respond to service calls as needed or at the direction of the Service Supervisor;
  • To effectively and efficiently troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning dairy equipment;
  • To ensure the customer’s expectations are exceeded and they are satisfied with the work performed;
  • To perform work on and off-site safely, efficiently and effectively;
  • As new projects occur, our technicians also help with layout, installation, and setup of new equipment.
  • Preferred Skills & Abilities, Will Train the Right Individual
  • An interest in mechanization, processes and systems
  • Computer and program processing ability
  • Basic and/or advanced understanding of freon based cooling systems including chillers and direct expansion methods of refrigeration.
  • Ability to safely and effectively use common hand and power tools
  • A basic understanding of dairy milking equipment operation, installation and repair
  • Ability to learn and properly use specialty tools, instruments and equipment necessary for troubleshooting and repairing dairy milking equipment.
  • Soldering: copper pipe
  • Electrical: a basic understanding of electricity; use of metering devices
  • Vacuum: a basic understanding of vacuum
  • Air systems: a basic understanding of compressed air circuitry
  • Fabrication: measuring, cutting, coping, etc.
  • Construction: basic understanding of building skills and tools used

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
