Accounting Assistant / Office Admin

Position – Accounting Assistant / Office Administrator
Job Location – Sussex, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (8:00am – 4:30pm)
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $20-$25 per hour
Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
Required Education – Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Required Experience – At least 1 years of experience preferred, but not required
This position will involve handling various financial transactions related to both accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
Responsibilities
- Utilize skills in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Enter and maintain accurate records in the accounting system
- Process/review customer invoices in accordance with company policies
- Great visitors and provided excellent customer service
- Answer and direct phone calls professionally
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required
- Experience in an A/P or A/R role is an advantage, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus
