Position – Store Clerk/Cashier
Job Location – Eau Claire, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Part-Time (20-25 Hours/Week) *Weekends are required, typically every other Saturday from 8am-2pm
Work Hours (Shift) – Hours will vary – Store hours are Mon-Fri 8a-6p & Sat 8a-2p
Starting Pay – $13.33-$14.83/hour, plus $1/hour for perfect attendance

Provide outstanding customer service in person and over the phone while assisting with product orders, checkout, and maintaining a clean, organized store. This role works closely with customers, sales teams, and warehouse staff to ensure a smooth shopping experience. Flexibility, professionalism, and attention to detail are key to success in this position!
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and friendly customer service in person and over the phone, including answering questions, giving advice, and taking product orders.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handle transactions accurately, and ensure the checkout area is organized and stocked.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized store by stocking, labeling, rotating products, and dusting regularly.
- Assist customers with special orders, follow through to completion, and help carry purchases to their vehicles when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately, along with proficiency in using computers and cash registers.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures, including short periods in coolers and freezers.
