Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)
Starting Pay – $18-$19 an hour - depending on experience

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience
In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment across our warehouse, volunteer spaces, welcome center, breakrooms, and restrooms. This position offers a stable schedule, competitive pay, and the potential for long-term career growth. At times, you will also operate forklifts in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of designated areas, including warehouses, volunteer spaces, welcome centers, breakrooms, and restrooms.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors, with a focus on maintaining warehouse floor markings.
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the facility is always audit-ready.
- Operate floor-cleaning equipment and manage trash removal efficiently.
- Safely handle and utilize cleaning chemicals and supplies, adhering to AIB food safety standards.
- Perform light maintenance tasks and assist with clearing outdoor areas as needed.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Candidate Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in custodial or warehouse maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures, including cold storage environments (-10°F to 10°F).
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Forklift certification
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
