1. Perform repetitive machine and assembly operations to produce standardized sheet metal products in accordance with dimensional specifications and quality standards requiring a fundamental knowledge of sheet metal fabricating operations and shop practices usually acquired by on-the-job training and experience.
2. Make scratch and center-punch layouts from templates and patterns.
3. Make semi-complex setups and operate shears, press brakes, punch press, spot welders, etc. to form and shape parts.
4. Assemble and fit parts and details using hand tools, jigs, spot welder, soldering equipment and riveters, check work for dimensions and configuration.
5. Work from job layouts, patterns, templates, bills of materials and production orders.
6. Use scale, square, dividers, straight edge and fixed gauges to setup, operate machines and check work.
7. Under supervision, instructions and guidance provided on the more complex setups, machine and assembly operations.

Employee would be operating laser equipment – sheet metal laser cutting specifically
We are looking for 1 year of experience on any of the following, or any combination of the following machines: Mitsubishi, Amada, Trumpf, and what’s called a Salvagnini L5 (although this is a less common machine brand for laser now days).
We do NOT operate plasma lasers or engravers – These skillsets will not be applicable. Our candidate(s) must also be able to program the machines and understand blueprints and measuring with several different measurement tools.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma preferred, but not required.
• 1 year of diverse sheet metal experience
• Familiarity with machines, materials, setups, sequences and procedures relating to sheet metal
