Lead Operator Technician

We are looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined Lead Warehouse Operator to take ownership of daily operations and drive team success in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels at operating and troubleshooting warehouse machinery, while also leading and mentoring a team.

Job Location – River Falls, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st 7:00am - 3:30pm | 2nd 3:00pm - 11:30pm M-F

Starting Pay – $25 /hour Depending on Experience

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED, 2 year degree preferred

Required Experience – Mechanical, Troubleshooting, Machine Operating, Technician

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support warehouse team members to meet production and shipping goals.
• Operate and monitor machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Train and coach team members on safe and efficient operating procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to maintain workflow and productivity.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance.
• Operate plant equipment effectively
• Ability to start, operate and shut down and clean compounding lines and axillary equipment.
• Set up and prepare materials, equipment, and paperwork for processing
• Comply with all quality standards
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and operating issues
• Comply with all safety and housekeeping policies
• Load and unload trucks as necessary
• Operate forklift and other powered equipment
• Report incidents, safety concerns, and equipment issues to supervisor
• Any and all other duties assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting warehouse or production equipment.
• Prior leadership experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Ability to lead by example and foster a positive, safety-focused team culture.
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Operate material handling equipment – forklifts, pallet jacks etc.
• Be able to lift heavy items on a regular basis, up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, twisting, climbing and overhead work as needed.
