POSITION – Packaging Position
JOB LOCATION – Menomonie, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm) *OT possible Fri/Sat
STARTING PAY – $17/per hour
REQUIRED EDUCATION – HS Diploma/GED or equivalent required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Previous experience in a factory or warehouse setting is preferred, though not mandatory.
Employees will aid in the manufacturing, packaging and labeling of products. Some packaging and labeling personnel take a supervisory role and ensure that the production process runs smoothly. Employees may also be tasked with performing quality checks and maintaining production equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Material Procurement Assistance: You'll be responsible for helping procure all labeling and packaging materials necessary for our production process.
- Batch Setup and Documentation: Assist in setting up according to Batch Record specifications and complete required checklists diligently.
- Labeling and Packaging: Support in labeling and packaging each product accurately, including preparing crate tags as needed during the process.
- Record Keeping: Complete Batch Records, logs, forms, and other essential documents required for product manufacturing in compliance with GDP standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure product integrity by completing LPN sheets and obtaining approval for label, expiry date, and lot number from authorized personnel before packaging.
- Product Integrity Maintenance: Check for and prevent the use of damaged products or packages during the manufacturing process.
- Workspace Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and dryness of collection trays and tables, ensuring they are properly arranged for efficient product collection.
- Product Handling: Safely and evenly distribute products on collection trays, ensuring efficient transfer as needed.
- Assistance in Sanitation: Aid in the cleaning and sanitation of work areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Flexibility: Be prepared to undertake other duties as assigned to support overall operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:
- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs with repetitive motions.
- Language and Numeracy Skills: Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating, along with basic math skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in diverse temperature ranges as required by the production environment.
- Reliability: Excellent attendance and punctuality; ability to work full time hours.
