POSITION – Part Time Warehouse Assistant
JOB LOCATION – Menomonie, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp to Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Part-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri) *Averaging 20-30 hours per week, ideal schedule after training would be Mon, Wed, and Fri.
STARTING PAY – $16-18/per hour
REQUIRED EDUCATION – HS Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Previous Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse experience required
The primary responsibilities include loading, unloading, and physically moving product inventory, as well as maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Work flexible part-time hours (20-30 hrs per week, with potential for growth)
- Unload inbound freight shipments
- Organize and store warehouse inventory in designated locations
- Assist route personnel and assist with inventory control, and organization
- Help prepare inventory for service, route, and install technicians as directed by the supervisor
- Clean shells, load liners, and miscellaneous equipment as required
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, shop, and outdoor areas to uphold a positive image
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Coachable with a professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management abilities
- Ability to interact with vendors, co-workers, and customers with tact, courtesy, and professionalism
- Forklift experience is a bonus
- Dairy experience or background is a plus
