Responsibilities
-We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Press Assistant to join our client’s production team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the paper industry.
Position – Feeder Press Assistant
Job Location – Appleton, WI
Starting Date – ASAP
Employment Term – Temp to Hire
Employment Type – Full time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift
Starting Pay – $19/hr
Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays
Required Experience – 1 year of prior manufacturing experience
Responsibilities
-
Mechanical and electronic abilities to learn the functions of the press.

Willingness and desire to learn the physical and chemical dynamics that comprise the printing process.

Must be willing to take direction from the pressman in a team environment.

Must have better than average color perception.

Must have a good understanding of what is considered good quality in the graphics arts field.

Read job ticket accurately and scan all components used into jobs and return to stock when finished.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: Technical school training in Graphics Arts and/or experience as a feeder operator under an experienced pressman.
