What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder - MIG position at SEEK Careers Staffing?
The MIG Welder will perform high quality structural welding on pump skids other equipment, among other welding projects. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 2nd SHIFT
Primary Job Duties: • Perform welding and metal fabrication on a variety of welding projects and stick and wire techniques • Read blueprints and schematics to determine needed configurations for weldments/assemblies • Set up, adjust and maintain all welding equipment • Perform metal cutting using plasma, oxy-acetylene or grinders • Work in a safe manner wearing all required PPE • Maintain 6s • Be a problem solver • Operate forklift • Share our values of fairness, respect, passion, responsibility, and integrity • Completes other duties as assigned

Requirements Education and Experience • High School Diploma or equivalent • 5 years experience as a welder with progressive responsibilities • Certification in MIG and structural welding preferred • Standing, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs
