POSITION – Welder/Fabricator

JOB LOCATION – Watertown, WI

STARTING DATE – Interview w/ Client & start as soon as TOMORROW!

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Direct Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 4:30pm) Mon-Thurs

STARTING PAY – $20-25hr per hour (D.O.E)

Looking for an experienced welder that has flux core welding skills for our swing shift of 9am -7:30pm Monday thru Thursday.$20-22hr.

Responsibilities

Weld .045 &.052 wire to plate and clips from ¼” up to 2” thick

Welding square tubing Wide Flange beams, angles and flat bar stock together to make weldments.

Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on steel as required by the project.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements.

Operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring proper use and maintenance.

Set up, adjust, and inspect welding equipment to ensure it functions properly before each job.

Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and shaping metals to specifications.

Inspect completed welds for quality, checking for potential defects and ensuring alignment with project specifications to ensure they meet quality standards.

Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols, wearing protective gear, and following company safety procedures.

Assist with troubleshooting welding issues, and adjusting techniques or equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Education/Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent; welding certifications (AWS, etc.) preferred.

Skills/Knowledge:

• • Proficiency in MIG and Flux welding.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Strong understanding of welding symbols, tolerances, and specifications.

  • Familiarity with a variety of welding tools and equipment.

  • Knowledge of safety practices and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements:

• • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

  • Comfortable working in various positions (e.g., kneeling, bending, or standing) and in varying environments (e.g., hot or cold conditions).
