Position – Welding Lead
Job Location – Appleton, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp to hire
Employment Type – Full time
Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd shift, M-F
Starting Pay – $25 BOE
Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
Preferred Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required
Responsibilities
-
Coordinate the flow of jobs
-
Assure departmental compliance with all established policies
-
Identify training needs and assist in employee development
-
Work with foreman to meet departmental goals regarding safety, quality, delivery, an cost
-
Follow all safety procedures and protocol.
-
Audit housekeeping in assigned workstations daily -Manage time off requests, attendance points, and write ups for team members
-
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
-
2 years in a leadership position in a manufacturing environment
-
At least 3-5 years of manufacturing experience required

Strong problem solving

Strong prioritization
-
Strong communication
