RESPONSIBILITIES : _ __
- The territory to be covered is the Mid-West region. Meet and exceed the assigned sales goals for the territory.
- Evaluate and appoint new dealer & distribution channels as required. Motivating and working with the distributors to drive demand of Seek Fire Products.
- Drive end-user demand in your assigned territory.
- Set up and agree on sales goals and objectives with distributors / integrators. Request sales forecasts from them in an effective and timely manner. Continued follow-up of prospects and weekly reporting ( forecast) is required.
- In cooperation with fire channel plan and execute local sales activities : Support distributors / integrator on local trade shows, plan and execute seminars for key customers, and conduct product demonstrations.
- Provide daily updates to Seek’s CRM system and any other reporting process required by Seek HQ.
- Conduct sales training and product training sessions for distributors using the established training programs to a level where they can actively sell the product.
- Identify and target key Fire Department customers that can utilize Seek technologies.
- Assume responsibility for demo-equipment and monitor the condition of all equipment assigned for demonstration purposes.
- Negotiate dealer agreements, end user purchase agreements and various partnerships / events required to sell Seek Thermal fire products.
- Develop and manage lead demand-generating marketing activities, i.e., customer promotional events, training, trade shows, etc.
- Manage a high volume of inbound leads and drive them to closure
- Recruit, train, and manage manufacturer representative partners in the assigned territory to ensure delivery of sales targets and support in identified channels and geographies.
- Work with customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs.
- In conjunction with rep groups, operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to end-users and rep group partners, assigned customers, rep, and end-user in assigned territory.
- Manage Customer relationships : expectations, needs, concerns, etc., to encourage the consumption and sale of new products
- Communicate the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and track key customer and dealer metrics
- Assist with high-severity requests or issue escalations as needed
- Up to 75% Travel required
