About Us: Seeking Solace LLC is a small private practice located in the historic downtown area of Fredericksburg, VA that offers both in-person and virtual mental health services to children, teens, and/or adults.
Position Overview: Tired or working fully remote but in-person work spaces are too expensive or too much work? We are looking for part-time and/or full-time clinicians that would like to focus on providing therapy without the burden or leases and administrative tasks. This position offers flexibility in caseload, allowing you to specialize in the population you are most passionate about, and flexibility in scheduling. The position will be hourly and at competitive rates. You will be provided with a beautiful furnished office space located in downtown Fredericksburg, VA, liability insurance, free credentialing with major insurances, AI assisted note taking tool, as well as billing and marketing services provided for you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual therapy sessions to children, teens, and/or adults using variety of therapeutic techniques, including CBT, DBT, play therapy, trauma-informed care, and other modalities as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and educators, as needed for holistic care.
- Maintain your own caseload, schedule, and communication with clients.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Active, unrestricted license in VA (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent).
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults in a therapeutic setting (at least 2 years and can include internships).
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to work at least one evening per week and flexible scheduling during the week.
- Must carry a caseload of at least 12 clients weekly.
- Must have an NPI number
