What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Paraprofessional(s) – 12 Months position at Seekonk North Building?
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participation in a mentor program that focuses on PBIS & SCERTS approaches
Work as a productive member of the K-8 instructional team to maximize student outcomes
Recognize the need for and provide assistance to students in an appropriately active K-8 classroom setting
Maintain data collection by employing research-based best practice strategies to demonstrate student progress and adjust student goals
Recognize various levels of student engagement and interest and develop interventions based on the appropriate
K-8 classroom environment
Develop/support foundational Deep Learning knowledge in order to facilitate internal and external learning partnerships across all educational settings
Other student-related assigned responsibilities as needed, including 1:1 assistance
