JOB SUMMARY:
The Energy & Accessibility Program Specialist will be responsible for performing a hybrid of field and office work on a program that blends energy efficiency with improving accessibility. The Program Specialist will be responsible for performing customer site audits, independently or in concert with a Program Ally (installation contractor). The Program Specialist will be responsible for ensuring all program documents are completed correctly, and performing data entry of project information. They will also interface directly with Program Allies during installations, and perform QA/QC and customer satisfaction surveys for completed projects. Other duties will include installation, operation, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of energy efficiency measures and smart home devices. The Energy and Accessibility Program Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a tracker of ongoing projects and will be responsible for preparing and delivering reports on the status of ongoing projects to program leadership and utility client staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the implementation of energy efficiency direct install programs
- Perform audits of customer homes for program measures
- Serve as point of contact when customers have questions
- Ensure that project documents are completed correctly and input program data to relevant databases
- Interface with and coordinate projects with Program Allies
- Perform QA/QC inspections and customer follow-ups regarding installed equipment
- Install or troubleshoot equipment as needed in coordination with program allies
- Provide regular project updates to program and utility team members
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record to qualify for company insurance while on duty
- Pass a background check and drug screens

- Responsive to customers, trade allies and team leaders
- Experience with installing or troubleshooting energy efficiency, electrical, or smart home equipment
- Computer skills necessary to perform intermediate-difficulty data entry and database management
- Ability to manage several ongoing tasks at once, working to multiple deadlines
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- Experience working on utility energy efficiency programs
- Technical, hands-on experience with installing and troubleshooting home electronics
- Knowledge and experience of smart home technology, especially the Google Home ecosystem
