Description
The purpose of this position is to fill multiple voids in a small program that has no need for full time employees in each area but requires the full attention of anyone filling these roles. Until the program grows further and work can be delegated to individual positions an all-encompassing role, normally assigned to three individual positions, will need to be established to increase the overall effectiveness of the program. The Outreach Coordinator will perform and operate like a standard Field Coordinator but with a special additional focus on outreach, in addition to other miscellaneous roles normally covered by a Project Specialist. This position will require good management skills, customer service/outreach ability, and the ability to drive long distances on a weekly basis. An associate degree in any field is preferred, a high school education is required. The position would include coordinating scheduling and QA/QC of energy educators, resolving customer complaints/incidents, evaluating all customer reports for additional savings potential, performing ride-a-longs/training with energy educators, managing contractor work scopes and project completion, processing agency rebates, arranging/coordinating outreach community events, and going into the field to meet local communities, property managers, and organizations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Energy Educator schedules.
- Perform QA/QC to ensure employees are following all program policies and procedures.
- Work with Program Manager to perform ride-a-longs and training for new and existing energy educators.
- Assist in tracking and reporting inventory from energy educators to the warehouse.
- Work with Program Manager to resolve any customer complaints/incidents.
- Evaluate all energy educator projects for deeper savings/premium measure potential.
- Order refrigerators for any qualified projects.
- Release work scopes and assign contractors to perform premium measure projects.
- Coordinate and track progress of all premium measure projects with contractors.
- Coordinate and arrange outreach events in the community and at local organizations.
- Follow up with customers regarding any premium projects and overall experience.
- Process community action agency rebates.
- Perform outreach visits and calls to local apartment complexes, retirement communities, and any other income qualified areas to find leads for the program.
- Work with Program Manager to meet with local community organizations/action agencies for partnership with SEEL.
- Arrange/coordinate regular updates to marketing materials and flyers used for outreach purposes.a
