Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A PhD or MS program in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or related field
- Software development best practices, including code design, unit tests, version control, and software life cycle management
- Experience with Python development
- Ability to write and test instrument drivers for RF or digital lab equipment
Preferred Additional Experience
While not required, experience with the following would be beneficial:
- Hands-on experience with RF equipment, such as RF sources, ADCs, DACs, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
- FPGA programming using VHDL, Verilog, or Migen
- Previous experience in quantum information, qubit characterization, or microwave engineering
