The Role
Reporting to the Technical Lead, Mining and working closely with the North American Revenue team (including the Technical Services and Sales groups) and with other functions across Seequent, you will be a leader promoting the continuous improvement of services to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent role in either our Toronto, Vancouver or Denver offices. Travel and delivery of training within Canada and USA may contribute up to 15% of your time per month.
A Project Geologist has some knowledge on the workflows facilitated by Leapfrog Geo and Central for fast model generation and stakeholder collaboration.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain a significant knowledge, competence and capability of Leapfrog Geo and Central solutions
- Be a team player by working with a larger technical team within North America and Globally
- Collaborate with the business team by setting up demos, webinars and supplying product information to prospective customers who may be evaluating our software
- Be a 'CRM' champion by ensuring the accurate maintenance of the database and 'Closing the Gaps' process, which provides Product Management with vital market information relating to new product/feature development
- Work with customers on Project Assistance opportunities across a variety of commodities and project stages
- Diversify your skills by collaborating with the software development teams to better understand user needs
- Some knowledge of 3D Geological Modelling
- Minimum 2 years' work experience in mine operations, mineral exploration, and/or consulting;
- University Degree in Geology or Geoscience (BSc or higher)
- Registration as a Geologist-in-Training or PGeo with either the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario or the Association of Professional Geoscientists of British Columbia (PGeo), or the eligibility to obtain either.
- Fluency in English; French or Spanish is considered an asset
- Must have legal credentials to work in Canada or USA
- Excellent interpersonal skills that lead to building rich working relationships
- Tenacity, persistency, and enthusiastic problem-solving approach
- Very curious and asks a lot of questions
- Interested in the latest technology and geoscience innovations
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
