THE ROLE
As the Senior Engineer / Head of Engineering, you will architect our platform strategy. You'll work on everything from developing new features, adding enhancements, troubleshooting bugs, and directly supporting our clients with technical issues.
In addition to being deep in the code, we're looking for someone who is ready and eager to continue building and refining Seer’s well-loved product. You'll be responsible for:
- Maintaining and evolving Seer’s front-end and back-end.
- Ensuring technical compliance with Seer’s Agreements/Service Level Agreements (SLAs): triaging client tickets ASAP, building open, proactive, and transparent communication lines with clients, being the front-line manager for tech support and bug fixes.
- Establishing conventions for code quality, review, and development.
- Project Managing all Engineering Projects: creating project plans and timelines, delivering internal and external status updates, and managing Engineering ticket updates.

WHAT YOU BRING
- 8 years of experience in software engineering with a track record of technical excellence.
- Hands-on experience in full-stack development, with a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies. Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects on time.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools
- Strong communication skills and a passion for building open, proactive, and transparent communication lines with clients and internal teams.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to prioritize development enhancements and align them with business goals.
