What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Machine Learning Engineer position at Seer?
Seer are currently partnered with a Drug Discovery Business based in New York City.
As the business continues to implement Machine Learning, they are seeking to add to their established ML team.
Experience required:
- Extensive experience in Machine Learning.
- Extensive experience in Deep Learning techniques :: Deep Neural Networks, Convolutional Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks, Deep Reinforcement Learning).
- Programming experience in Python or other backend languages.
- Experience using ML within either :: Biophysics, Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Drug Discovery, Cheminformatics or Quantum chemistry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the advanced development of models tailored for drug discovery and scientific applications.
- Build and implement machine learning models, particularly LLMs, in production settings, collaborating with engineers to ensure scalability and robustness.
- Tackle key research engineering challenges, focusing on designing, implementing, and scaling machine learning algorithms.
