About the Role :
The Head of UX and Design is responsible for leading Seerist’s product design function ensuring that our platform provides the optimal experience for users across our domains. This is a Hybrid position, 3 days per week in the Reston, VA office.
Responsibilities :
Candidates should have leadership experience building and driving innovation and change within software applications. Their duties include leading the end-to-end design function, from user research through to the development of wireframes, design systems, and compositions for development teams to implement. This includes :
- Provide effective leadership of the UX and Design team. This includes hiring and management of third parties.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across disciplines to ensure alignment as you define the experience design vision and strategy for a large portfolio of projects.
- Ensure measurable, high-quality outcomes for design and user research.
- Create the future for enterprise design systems and UI standards.
- Standardize and advocate for human-centered design practices.
- Drive a DesignOps vision and maturation of an infrastructure to support professional practice for User Experience design and user research.
- Define an organizational design strategy and grow a UX team that delivers products in support of business and technology goals.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to align UX and development activities in an agile environment.
This will be a leadership role – working with our head of product, CPO, CTO to transform Seerist’s platform.
