Clinical Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Supervises daily clinical operations of the Surgery Center and manages the clinical staff and facility in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation regulations and guidelines, as well as established Surgery Center policies and procedures. Oversees patient care activities in preoperative, postoperative and intraoperative areas.

Purchases required supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment. Responsible for staff development, orientation and staff discipline and appraisals. Maintains contracts with vendors and contracted services. Coordinates the Quality the Program and actively participates on all other programs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required
• Current RN state licensure in ASC state required
• Management training/experience preferred
• CPR/ACLS certification required
• Two years’ operating room nursing experience preferred
