JOB SUMMARY:
The Creative Services Department operates as part of SEGA West Publishing and is responsible for producing a wide variety of assets used to support cutting-edge marketing campaigns for SEGA and Atlus PC, Console, and mobile games. The Digital Madia Designer will be responsible for the asset production for a variety of visual projects in support of SEGA’s PC and Console titles such as Persona, Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Metaphor: Refantazio, Sonic the Hedgehog, and all other franchises and games. We are looking for a talented, reliable, and self-motivated Digital Media Designer, experienced in current media technologies to create unique digital assets for multimedia and graphic projects including paid media ads, social media content, websites, and digital storefronts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Paid Media asset design & production – Create static and HTML5 assets for paid media such as out-of-home, digital display, paid social, site takeovers, and programmatic ads. With the guidance of the Senior Designer and department lead, this role will develop ad creative for campaigns as assigned in partnership with Product Marketing and Digital Media counterparts.
- Organic Social Media design – Design creative solutions for social requests using strong technical skills and adhering to style guides with guidance and collaboration with the community team and product marketing leads.
- Storefront banner design – Develop static graphic materials for first party storefronts while following platform guidelines and best practices.
- Website design - Develop website style sheets that can be passed off to our tech services team for back end development and produce mockups of website designs for stakeholder approval.
- Glam shot design – Develop or modify glam shot arrays to display product details/perks clearly and encourages product sell through for NA/LATAM regions.
- Communicate directly with key project stakeholders for alignment on creative requests and direction to ensure information is complete and projects are ready to be executed.
- Uphold and stay up to date on brand standards, guidelines, and best practices for consistency among all creative assets, including external guidelines of first-party and ratings boards
- Organize and maintain design files, ensuring proper version control and accessibility for the team.
- Uphold motion design standards and detailed understanding of typography, composition, layout, readability, color theory, UX/UI.
- Support cross-functionally with other CS design tasks, as needed.
- Manage first party and ESRB approvals for creative deliverables.
- Working in-office is an essential function of this position. This requirement of face-to-face interaction is in place to ensure effective supervision, collaboration, and teamwork. In-office attendance is required for the following reasons:

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Three to five years of experience in Design for Marketing
- Proven success in developing large-scale campaign designs for consumer marketing.
- Strong communication skills among cross-functional teams.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong time management skills to meet deadlines with speed, flexibility and quality.
- Passion for video games and gaming / marketing trends is a plus.
- Must provide an online portfolio showcasing your talent and experience in digital design (please submit link to portfolio along with resume)
- Adobe creative suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- HTML5/rich media tools (Such as Bannerflow, Creatopy etc.)
- Project Management tools (Such as Jira, Trello, Asana etc.)
Bonus knowledge:
- After Effects (or similar video editing programs)
- Adobe XD (Or Figma)
Salary : $75,000 - $88,000
