Duties And Responsibilities
- Orchestrate GaaS Marketing and Community campaigns based on alignment with SEGA Japan Studios to maximize return on investment.
- Work with SEGA Japan Studios and SEGA Japan Marketing Division to identify game features that would improve the efficiencies of community management.
- Collaborate with product, ads, data, and Creative teams to enhance the portfolio and business through comprehensive lifecycle marketing.
- Contribute to successful ad creative concepts and conduct creative testing, collaborating closely with the Creative and SEGA Japan Marketing Division to deploy breakthrough creative executions to engage new and retain existing users.
- Create new and innovative ways to engage brands through social media.
- Continuously research the evolving social media space, staying on top of trends, new networks, and shifts in consumer behavior.
- Lead and develop team of community and social media experts across a diverse portfolio of gaming IP.
- Conceptualize and execute Community campaigns with measurable results, collaborating with the rest of the Community team to ensure their delivery.
- Leads the development of standard responses or guidelines to the most common inquires, complaints, and comments.
- Offer strategic counsel to studio leadership and manage crisis communications, as needed.
- Responsible for Community team budget.
- Provide meaningful feedback and reporting to game teams on the community’s sentiment, concerns, and suggestions.
- Raise the visibility of community, social, and content creator activations with studio and executive leadership.
- Ensure game and campaign messages are well-delivered to the community by tracking and defining event goals associated with user acquisition objectives.
- Support SEGA Japan Studios and SEGA Japan Marketing Division during implementation.
- Work with SEGA Japan Studios and SEGA Japan Marketing Division to communicate on-going marketing efforts and line up marketing support with in-game opportunities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Working in-office is an essential function of this position. This requirement of face-to-face interaction is in place to ensure effective supervision, collaboration, and teamwork. In-office attendance is required for the following reasons:

Qualifications and Skills:
- 8 years’ experience in Product Marketing and Community Management for a GaaS product.
- 3-5 years of experience managing teams of 3-5 members.
- Practical experience in planning and managing marketing campaigns, as well as setting and reviewing KPIs for marketing and community activities.
- Experience working with Console/PC platforms, as well as Apple and Google platforms.
- Understanding privacy laws such as CCPA, GDPR, and managing SKAd network settings with our MMP.
- In-depth knowledge of F2P business models and the Live-ops value chain.
- Practical experience in utilizing data to measure, analyze, and report on the impact of marketing initiatives.
- Intellectually curious with strong analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to perform complex data analysis and build data-driven reports.
- Experience collaborating with development teams and media outlets.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Outstanding cross-functional leadership experience with a proven record to influence and collaborate across disciplines.
- Ability to analyze, draft, and share presentations to the executive team in a clear and effective manner.
- Self-motivated, revenue driven, and passionate about supporting SEGA in the online games space.
- Exceptional oral, written, and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Excellent skill in Japanese as business level to make smooth transaction with SEGA Japan Studios and SEGA Marketing Division.
- Must be detail-oriented, possess strong time and business process management skills, and be able to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Active player of GaaS PC/Console/Mobile games, with the ability to understand the perspectives of both casual and mid-core gamers.
