Opportunity:
The Consulting Actuary/Client Relationship Manager (CRM) role offers a significant and positive impact on the continued growth of the public sector retirement benefits consulting business in the West Region.
Role:
The CRM will manage client relationships, lead project management, and drive new business development. Key responsibilities include:
• Understanding clients' issues and needs
• Establishing rapport and building effective working relationships within client organizations
• Providing creative, innovative, and strategic expertise to clients and colleagues
• Applying complex actuarial concepts, methods, and applications
• Collaborating with others to build and maintain effective client relationships
• Leading new business development initiatives targeting existing and prospective clients in the Public Sector market
• Guiding client service teams and mentoring staff to contribute to the overall intellectual and professional development within the teams
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have:
• At least 9 years of experience in employee benefits consulting or a related field involving exposure to retirement plan strategies and concepts/approaches in the public sector environment
• A minimum undergraduate degree and ASA accreditation (FSA preferred)
• Strong business acumen, leadership ability, and success as a relationship builder/collaborator
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to analyze and identify issues to develop solutions
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse audiences and travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects

The current salary range for this position is $124,500 to $180,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
