Segale Properties, a mid-sized commercial real estate company, is hiring a full-time Facilities & Maintenance Technician to join our team! This is a full-time, year-round position.

The Facilities & Maintenance Technician reports to the Field Operations Manager and coordinates with the Building Construction Manager. The role requires hands-on field work (80%) and administrative responsibilities (20%).
Responsibilities include:
· Perform and lead the maintenance and repairs for all Segale commercial, retail, and residential properties, including eastern Washington properties.
· Provide exceptional service to tenants as their primary point of contact for facilities maintenance issues, off-hours maintenance, and security issues.
· Troubleshoot maintenance and repair issues as they arise and perform preventative maintenance while looking for ways to add value and prevent avoidable repairs.
· Provide on-site supervision and coordination with other trade skills within Segale, subcontractors, service technicians, and vendors.
· Adapt to day-to-day changes in work assignments, work location, and work in Eastern Washington 2-4 times per month during the workweek.
· Safely operate a wide variety of hand and power tools to complete a job.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent required. Degree related to role, preferred.
· 7 years of experience with facilities maintenance with an understanding of overall construction, carpentry, demolition, drywall, painting, plumbing, flooring, roofing, HVAC, electrical, locks, electronic controls, security systems, etc.
· Valid Washington State Driver’s License and safe driving record.
· Effective written, drawing, and verbal communication skills to understand and communicate project specifications in English.
· Competency with work order management tools and programs and typical office programs such as Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
· Proven punctual and reliable attendance to work and throughout the day to worksites.
Workplace Safety:

· Must be able to safely perform physically demanding daily work, including lifting up to 60 pounds, bending and turning without limitations, and completing precise tasks using hands/fingers with eye-hand coordination, and working indoors and outside as needed.
Location/Work Schedule:
· The position is based out of our main office in Tukwila, WA.
· Regular schedule is Monday – Friday (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM), 40 hours per week. Occasional Saturday work may be required.
· This position is the on-call person for all maintenance and security issues occurring off-hours and weekends.
