Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in the culinary arts. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Clover POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items to enhance guest experience through effective upselling techniques.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation practices in the kitchen.
- Deliver orders to tables efficiently and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Handle payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all transactions are processed correctly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist in food preparation as needed during peak hours to support kitchen operations.
Experience
- Have at least three (3) months of experience as a Server or in a similar role within the culinary or hospitality industry is required.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance sales is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
