Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Host/Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy of orders.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order delivery and address any special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables and assisting with restocking supplies as needed.
- Utilize Clover POS or similar systems to track orders and assist with any guest inquiries regarding their meals.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing any concerns or questions promptly and professionally.
- Assist in maintaining a positive atmosphere within the restaurant by demonstrating hospitality and teamwork.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette when interacting with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Clover POS, is a plus.
- A commitment to providing outstanding guest services and enhancing the overall dining experience.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- At least 16 years of age.
