The Human Resources Clerk manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office and manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. ·
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a must
- Required: High School Graduate with Office Skills and knowledge of Human Resource procedures.
The HR Clerk shall enforce established Operating Policies and Procedures, as required and/or as appropriate, within Segovia’s Distributing, Inc.
- Maintain and monitor a company-wide vacation schedule
- Track individual employee sick days, tardiness, absences, etc.
- Maintain current and past employee personnel files
- Recruiting and staffing logistics
- Organizational and space planning
- Employee orientation, development, and training meetings
- Policy development and documentation
- Enter Payroll and Distribute pay checks on a weekly basis
- Schedule Interviews
- Ensure that all required documents are completed for new employees and filed in their personnel file
- Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting
- Compensation and benefits administration
- Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor
- Day to day HR information and other financial reports (Monthly and Yearly) are accurate and submitted on a timely basis.
- Payroll data is complete in an accurate and timely fashion.
- All company records and information are maintained in an up to date condition.
- Performance evaluations are conducted every year for employees.
- Seeks guidance and direction as necessary from the President on major issues.
- Demonstrates good judgment in suitably reporting major matters or problems to the President.
- Respects the confidentiality of company information and ensures that all subordinate staff does likewise.
- Displays a positive attitude and maintains a cooperative working relationship with the President, other managers and all other employees.
- Performs all duties in an independent and expeditious manner with minimal supervision.
- Appears to work on time and begins work promptly.
- Consistently displays the ability to recognize and deal with priorities.
- Demonstrates good planning skills that suitably fit into the overall company goals.
- Maintains a clean and organized work space.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
