Internship Details and Learning Experience:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing Events Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for organization, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and management in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Assist with event planning and coordination, including venue selection, catering, invitations, and other event logistics.
Provide on-site support during events, including greeting guests, registration check in, and helping to ensure the smooth flow of activities.
Help manage and organize event supplies, ensuring all inventory is properly stored, labeled, and easy to access for future events.
Work closely with the events team to ensure all aspects of event preparation and execution align with overall goals and brand standard, and help coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and other partners.
Research and propose ideas for hosting events tailored to different markets and target audiences. This includes understanding the preferences and needs of each market to design more impactful events.
Coordinate the ordering and procurement of branded promotional items for special events and trade shows, ensuring that all materials align with the company’s branding and event objectives.
Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Specific degree or skill requirements/prerequisites:
Majors: Pursuing a Business or Marketing degree, incoming Junior or Senior preferred.
Preferred Experience: Strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple requests is crucial.
