What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Financial Analyst, Capital Reporting & Analysis position at Segra?
Sr. Capital Project Analyst will play a key role in the review and reporting on capital projects. This role will be in the Financial Planning & Analysis Team reporting to the Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis – Capital.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepares in-flight capital project budget to actuals
Investigates project overruns by working closely with Operations’ departments.
Performs return analysis on capital project portfolio
Assist with quarterly project forecasting by working closely with Operations.
Assist in annual capital project budget process.
Prepare/review cash capex analysis, footnotes and other reports as requested by both internal and external parties monthly as well as quarterly and annually by specific deadlines
Ensures compliance to internal capital project controls.
Works cross functionally to improve data efficiency and accuracy for projects reporting.
Contribute as needed for special projects
Assists Operations with project requests and analysis.
Qualifications
Education:
Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Economics, or other Finance-related field
Experience: 5 years of experience in accounting/finance (Telecom experience preferred). Excellent Excel skills. Accounting System Experience (Oracle EBS a plus)
Key Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
