Director of Services and Support Finance

Position Overview:

The Director of Finance for Professional Services and Customer Support will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategy for our professional services and customer support departments. This role requires a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will ensure financial efficiency, support business growth, and enhance customer satisfaction through effective financial management.

In this role you will:

• Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for professional services and customer support departments.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue, profitability, and cost management.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage financial risks and opportunities, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
• Provide financial guidance and support to professional services and customer support teams.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in financial management for SaaS companies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a SaaS or technology company.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and systems, including ERP and financial reporting tools.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• In-depth understanding of professional services and customer support businesses, including their financial dynamics and key performance indicators.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
