We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our growing team at Segrera Associates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing efficient purchasing of inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accuracy in requisitions and negotiating optimal prices, delivery, and terms.
Your key responsibilities will include evaluating vendors for quality and performance, maintaining strong relationships, and recommending new suppliers when needed. You will also prepare purchase orders, expedite deliveries for seamless production, assess reorder levels for cost efficiency, and collaborate with teams to meet KPIs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a 4-year college
- 3 years in logistics/procurement (industrial setting preferred) or equivalent experience
- MS Excel proficiency and familiarity with automated PO systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, CMMS)
- Strong organization, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environment with a collaborative spirit
