Position Summary :
Segue Technologies, A Tetra Tech Company seeks a Senior Database Engineer to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s (AFLCMC) Logistics Module (LOGMOD) and Base Support and Expeditionary Planning Module (BaS&E) Program.
Through an Agile Approach, our team will deliver Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) capabilities in support of the AFLCMC mission. This is a full-time hybrid / remote positions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Lead Development team in DBA related activities and provide suppor for Oracle 19c databases
- Coordinate and manage migration of on-premises database to AWS cloud services.
- Perform Oracle database administration; analyze and optimize database performance utilizing indexes and dynamic tables to improve application response time.
- Maintain, upgrade, test and implement patches and security measures to safeguard Oracle databases.
- Modify existing database structures to support new requirements for government applications.
- Ability to write Adhoc SQL queries / scripting is desirable
