Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from accredited university (minimum)
Master’s degree in Music from accredited university (preferred)
Valid Texas teaching certificate (All-Level / Secondary Music)
Demonstrated competency in the subject area(s) assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of subject(s) assigned
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
One year student teaching or approved internship (minimum)
