The Aircraft Production Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily operations on the aircraft assembly line to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety regulations are met. This role involves managing a team of technicians, optimizing workflow, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
Responsabilities:
- Supervise and direct aircraft assembly teams to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor daily operations, resolve technical issues, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Review work orders, blueprints, and engineering documents to ensure proper execution of assembly tasks.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to optimize performance and maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and quality assurance teams to address production challenges.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure proper allocation of tools, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of production progress, inspections, and workforce performance.
- Enforce safety procedures and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aircraft assembly, maintenance, or production.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, blueprints, and assembly processes.
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing or aviation environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
