Job Description
In this position you will perform complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
- Performs functional testing of aircraft electrical systems and components as well as perform aircraft systems troubleshooting and fault repair.
- Assesses and documents test or analysis data to show compliance.
- Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
- Identifies roadblocks and production constraints escalating issues which cannot be resolved by the team using open and clear communication.
- Supports teammates to improve overall team performance by providing cross training and mentoring.
- Adhere to high standards of Safety and Compliance to regulation.
Qualifications
- This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role such as: flexion/extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist and walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting).
- 1 years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
- 1 years of experience in electrical assembly and/or electronic materials.
- 1 years of experience in avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, and aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting.
- 1 years of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications.
- 1 years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of experience with functional testing of aircraft electrical systems.
- 3 years of experience with functional testing of IFE systems knowledge.
- 3 years of experience with aircraft systems troubleshooting and fault repair experience.
- 1 years of experience with 787 Program Experience.
